what we stand for:

Our mission is not just art and sustainable fashion education, but also the broader ambition of creating a more inclusive world. Each small step we take brings us closer to each other and towards a healthier planet.

  • We use our environment to hold workshops, invite industry guest speakers and the chance for young people to challenge and learn what we do. We have had incredible pieces made by young people from poetry to a dissertation. These expressions showcase the unique talents within the group!

  • We don’t lead with protest or negativity. Instead we believe in action that matters! Through education and self expression, we turn ideas into real world impact. Talking isn’t enough and we empower young people to become changemakers of their own futures.

  • Project Fashion Fixed is all about using fashion as a way into bigger conversations - about people, materials and waste. Through creativity and curiosity, we open the floor to discussions about mental health and wellbeing, reduced inequalities and consumption.

  • Our community is a safe and inclusive space where everyone is welcome, whatever your background, identity or experience. We are especially committed to making room for those who are often left out, as every voice matters. Diversity fuels creativity as different voices, perspectives and ways of thinking makes us stronger.

  • We’re building a community of young people who know that small actions can lead to big change. By putting a positive, creative spin on serious climate issues, we can facilitate real conversations about sustainability, fashion and our planet. We’re not waiting for change, we’re making it happen together.

Meet the team

Meet all the lovely people who make this happen!

Since  2022, Project Fashion Fixed has been building a creative community for people who care about sustainability and want to challenge the impact of fast fashion. Founded by denim artist Kerry Gibson with a small group in Lincoln, the project has been growing ever since! Through collaboration, creativity and honesty, we go deeper than 'just fashion'.

We open up space for conversations around workers' rights, social justice, race, divides in our world, mental health and global responsibility. We want the learning to be empowering, not overwhelming. It is a space where everyone is welcome and all of the voices matter. Whether you're into making, talking, styling or just showing up there's a place for you in the PFF community.
